Nutcracker Ballet Placement Audition Class - 9/9/23

This year we are celebrating our 20th year anniversary in partnering with the Charles R Wood Theater! We were the first dance company to perform the Nutcracker back in December 2004 when it first opened and we hope to make this year extra special.
Placements for Roles will be on Saturday, September 9th , beginning at 10:00 am.
10:00-10:30am Sign in
10:30-11:00am Ages 4-9 (Children's Ballet-Level I)
11:00-11:30am Level II-Level III
11:15-12:00 pm Dancers currently on pointe (11 and up)

Saturday Rehearsals dates are currently planned for :
September 9 (placements)

November 4 ( as needed )

December 2

Nutcracker Performance Week (at The Charles Wood Theater)
Thursday 12/7 Tech Rehearsal
Friday 12/8 Dress Rehearsal
Saturday 12/9 Shows at 1:00pm & 6:00 pm
Sunday 12/10 Show at 1:00 pm

ABT handbooks and dancer contracts will be handed out during the first week of placement and rehearsals. This will include updates to Company Fees , Attendance Policy, and Mandatory Fundraiser Participation, with optional buy-out

A Senior Company Dancer and Faculty Member, accepted by audition to Brockport State University's Dance Program. The program is fourth in the State for College Dance programs. Cailyn was also accepted to Brockport State University's honors program. We are all very proud of her!

Congratulations Lilly!

Lilly was accepted by audition to the American Academy of Ballet for the 2nd consecutive year! She received the Mignon Furman Award, and will be attending the AAB summer intensive program in NYC on partial scholarship.
We are very proud of you Lilly!
